About the author:
Prof. Dr. Makmor Tumin is trained as a political scientist at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and is attached to the Department Of Political Science, Public Administration And Development Studies, in the Faculty of Business and Economics. He began to seriously embark on his efforts to focus on the field of Islamic Knowledge since 2011, exploring ideas that were developed by international shaykhs. With an eyesight that began to deteriorate at the age of 11, he enrolled in a blind school in 1983, before later furthering his studies at the University of Malaya, the university in which he is still presently attached to. After completely losing his eyesight during his 40s, he optimized his hearing ability to follow YouTube lectures and is subscribed to the main ideas of international shaykhs including Yasir Qadhi, Nouman Ali Khan, Navaid Aziz, Abdal Hakim Murad, Hamza Yusuf, Yahya Rhodus, and Omar Suleiman. Not only is he attentive to all the lectures, but he has also managed to get assistance to conduct further research and scribe these ideas into books. These works would not have been materialized if not for the support of local Islamic experts, thus anyone interested to join in on some of these projects is very welcomed. Some of his works are already in the pipeline for publication (7 altogether), and many of them are still in draft format, available for download on this website (currently 18), while many other works are still languishing as unrefined works.
